- Cabinet Committee on Economic affairs has cleared 10% stake dilution in CIL, 5% in ONGC and 11.36% in NHPC.
- ICICI bank introduces cardless cash withdrawal facility
- Customer can transfer money from their account to anyone with a mobile number in India.
- The withdrawal facility can be initiated by sender using internet banking.
- The sender first need to register the recipient’s name, mobile number and address. The sender will get four-digit verification code and recipient a six digit reference over SMS.
- The recipient can withdraw cash from almost all ICICI Bank ATMs by entering the mobile number, cash amount along with the verification and reference code, within two days of the transaction.
