    • Goa’s Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar sworn in as 11th Minister of Goa.
    • Parsekar, a postgraduate in science was Goa Health minister and three time legislator.
    • He was selected unanimously at a legislator meeting.
  2. Kingfisher Airlines Ltd will be suspended from trading
    • Kingfisher Airlines Ltd will be barred from trading of shares with effect from December 1.
  3. OECD releases Economic Outlook 2014
    • Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released Economic Outlook 2014.
    • According to it, Global GDP growth is projected to reach a 3.3 percent rate in 2014, to 3.7 percent in 2015 and 3.9 percent in 2016.
  4. Burger King will open outlets in India
    • Burger King will open 12 outlets in India over next 60 to 90 days.
    • “In the long run, India is going to be one of the largest markets globally. Burger King most certainly sees India as one of the biggest opportunities in the future,”
  5. India will extend Visa-on-arrival for Russian businessmen.
